What to expect during a Wedding Consultation call with your DJ

Hey guys its DJ Jimmy! If you have a booking call with me, here is what to expect:

Getting to Know You & Your Vision:

• First, I want to learn about you and your fiance: where did you guys meet? What type of music do you enjoy listening together?

• I want to learn more about your vision for your wedding and hear about the special details you have planned.

• What are your expectations for your wedding DJ?

• What are the most important parts of the wedding day for you?

Getting to Know Me

• I give a brief introduction about me, and my biggest priorities as your wedding DJ

Event Details:

• I will make sure I have your wedding date available first.

• Talk about which wedding venue you have chosen and logistics of getting there. All travel fees are included within an hour range of Orlando. Destination weddings will have a travel fee whether its an additional flight, lodging or gas/rental vehicles.

• Guest count and details of the wedding day such as hourly coverage you would need.

Ceremony

• Will you be needing amplified audio & music during your pre-lude (30 minutes prior to ceremony while guests find their seats) and ceremony (processional/recessional for bridal party and bride and groom).

• Will it be indoors or outdoors? (Ceremony setup is completely wireless for easy accesibility outdoors)

• Will there be a backup rain plan?

• Microphone options: Wireless Microphones or Clip-on microphone option

  
  

Reception:

• While guests find their seats, I will be making sure the bridal party are lined up for grand entrances and chatting with the Bride & Groom.

• How I will warm up the wedding guests in the reception area prior to the grand entrances.

• Information on how I MC your reception and keep a steady flow all night.

• How I open up your dance floor and keep everyone engaged.

Music Preferences & Playlists:

• You will have access to my Wedding DJ Planning app. You can upload your pre-made playlists or allow me to make you a playlist based off of the genres and vibe that you want.

• You can make a "must-play" or "do not play" list.

• You can choose to allow me to take special requests from guests or have the option to decline special requests, completely up to you.

• You can request special requests: Line dances, the Marraige game, a photo dash with your guests, etc.

Technical & Lighting Needs:

• We will discuss equipment, setup and lighting.

• Sound System: 2 reception speakers with subwoofer + 2 wireless microphones

• Power Outlets & Cables: My ceremony audio is completely wireless for outdoor ceremonies or cocktail hour

• For lighting and visuals, I can offer uplighting to transform your reception space or highlight any architecture in the room, dance floor lighting, wash lights, or moving head lights (club style lights).

• All of the lighting are synchronized to the music playing for the ultimate club like atmosphere

• DJ booth: will have a custom monogram with Bride & Grooms initials

Pricing & Packages

• I will help you decide which DJ package works best for you and your partners wedding day needs.

• Answer any questions you have about pricing, and if you need any adjustments made to the packages.

• Payment plans: First deposit will officially reserve your wedding date in my calendar. Depending on how far out your wedding is and if you have a preference on the amount of deposits, you can have between 2-4 deposits to spread them out.
